On your device

Project names, sections, measurements, and assumptions are saved in your browser’s local storage. Calculations run in your browser. We do not require an account, name, email, street address, or phone number to use the estimator.

When you share

Choosing to create a share link uploads a project snapshot and PDF to Cloudflare D1 and R2. Anyone with that link can access the estimate. Leave personal information out of project and section names. Links stop working after 30 days; scheduled cleanup removes expired records and files.

A deletion token stays on the originating device. Use the project page to delete a shared copy early. Clearing browser storage removes your local project and deletion tokens, but hosted copies remain until expiry unless deleted first. People who downloaded a PDF may retain their own copy.

Hosting and abuse prevention

Cloudflare serves the site. Its Turnstile service verifies sharing requests, and the Worker uses request IP information for rate limiting. Our application does not store IP addresses in estimate records. Operational logs record error types and cleanup counts, not project content or deletion tokens. Cloudflare may process request metadata under its own policies.

Partners and analytics

No advertising, contractor lead collection, or affiliate tracking is active in this release. External supplier links take you to sites with their own privacy practices.
