What goes into an estimate

Quantities come from your dimensions and the assumptions shown in the calculator. Waste, settling, density, bag yield and order increments can change the amount you buy. Example depths and material properties are planning inputs, not a design for your project.

CubicTally is a planning tool, not a material supplier or an engineering service. Confirm product suitability, delivery access and complete charges with your supplier and project professional. Read the calculation methodology and estimate limitations before ordering.

Sources and review

The site and its calculator guidance are published under the CubicTally name. Local price references identify their supplier, product, units, source and review date. A checked date records an inspection, not a guarantee that a price is still available. Sources older than 90 days enter our overdue review queue; unverified local offers stay unpublished.

General product guidance is labeled separately from local pricing. Illustrative assumptions remain labeled when a product specification is unavailable. Saved estimates keep the sources and assumptions used when they were created.

Contact and corrections

Report a calculation problem, outdated source or unclear explanation to hello@cubictally.com. Include the public page URL and what appears wrong. For a calculation issue, include the shape, units, dimensions and allowances needed to reproduce it; for a source correction, include the original supplier or manufacturer link.
